Clean & Cold Room Design

PIR Composite walls can be used to quickly divide up larger rooms creating food safe hygienic work areas that provide up to 60 min fire resistance. Personnel doors or thermal insulated doors can be easily installed into the panels to create access to any area. Stelvetite Food safe flashings are used on all internal, external corners and all joins and panel seals are finished with food grade silicone.

If the structures ceiling is over 7 meters wide then a top hat system will be used to support the ceiling from the portal frame of the building. In factories that require PIR ceilings these will be found every 5 or 6 meters throughout the whole factory.

If you require a freezer store / cold storage insulation, a Heater mat, floor Insulation and a door frame heater tape will need to be installed. If you wish to complete your own PIR project the Saniclad team can assist with the design and supply of the materials needed.
